Stance on Issues


  • Insisted on the borough infrastructure to be a priority. Our roads and alleys have not been a priority
  • Not afraid to ask the hard questions
  • Fought and stood her ground to not have the 2019 paving budget reduced
  • A proven watch dog for how tax dollars are spent
  • Insists on comparable quotes for borough work and expenditures
  • Proposed and cut costs by more than $171,000 in one year
  • Insisted on evaluating the sewer lines and making necessary repairs
  • Only council member to identify a $1.5 million error in a budget while other council members were congratulating the borough manager and thinking how
    to spend the money
  • Voted against the hiring of an auditing firm which was an employee’s preferred company and
    was paid $11,772 more in a three year contract because council did not like how the CPA’s of the lower-cost auditing firm looked. Plus, this year, without council approval the contract
    was extended an additional year.                                        
  • Only council member to investigate when council was told there was a paragraph in an employee union contract and discovered it did not exist.
  • Only council member to report an employee was hired without a valid job title and job description. In addition, the job title was not in the wage ordinance
  • Spends taxpayer’s money like it is her own money

Linda and her husband converted seven multi-family buildings in Bellevue into one family homes which brought in young people to the borough. She believes, they  encouraged others to do the same. Additionally, they renovated many blighted properties.

She has volunteered and/or contributed to the 4th of July committee, the fireworks committee, the 150th committee and National Night Out. Past member of the Friends of the Library and chaired the Easter egg hunt for 4 years.
